Vic Sprouse

Owner

A chemical engineer by trade, Vic Sprouse has worked in both the chemical production environment in Dow Chemical’s South Charleston Plant and as their public relations leader specializing in crisis communications including the Dow Intranet and the “Our Dow” television program.

Working for Union Carbide Corporation, Vic earned the company’s highest achievement, the UCC Chairman’s Award.

As a successful entrepreneur, Sprouse currently owns Sprouse Consulting which specializes in crisis communication, business work process improvement, strategic planning, and competitive marketing.

Sprouse’s other companies, Sprouse Fitness, LLC, and Sprouse Holdings, LLC, own and operate 11 fitness centers in West Virginia and Pennsylvania.

Senator Sprouse applies the lessons he has learned in the private sector to his work in the State Senate. He understands the importance of making West Virginia more attractive for companies to create jobs here and for current employers to keep people working in our state. Throughout his service in the Legislature, he has been rated by the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce as one of the top senators in supporting and promoting job creation.

Suzette M. Raines

Political Director and Client Services Manager

Suzette M. Raines majored in Political Science and Economics at West Virginia State University in Institute, WV.

While at West Virginia State University, Suzette was recognized on the Dean’s List and is a member of the Political Science Honors Fraternity, Pi Sigma Alpha. She served as the chapter President of Pi Sigma Alpha in 2005-2006.

During the regular legislative session in 2006, Suzette served as a Frasure-Singleton Intern, where she worked with Delegate Kelli Sobonya.

In her short time in politics, Suzette has gained a wealth of experience which includes working with the Blankenship campaign in 2006 and volunteer campaign work for Congresswoman Shelley Moore Capito in 2004. She also assisted in President Bush’s 2004 campaign and with the Kim Holmes for House campaign in 2006.

Suzette maintains her strong relationship with the West Virginia Beverage Association with whom she assisted during the 2007 Legislative Session. She has worked for the West Virginia Oil Marketers & Grocers Association, the West Virginia Motor Truck Association, and helped other major organizations in the state.

She is a member of the Kanawha County Republican Executive Committee and the Center-Right Coalition.

Suzette currently resides in Saint Albans.

Jeri Ray

Client Services Representative

Jeri Ray currently serves as Operations Manager for Sprouse Fitness LLC and also has recently taken on a role as Client Services representative for Sprouse Consulting.

Jeri has extensive marketing experience in the Charleston area. She spent four years working for the Charleston Marriott's Banquet department. Jeri owned and operated a floor covering installation company in West Virginia and Virginia, including work for Langley Air Force Base. She also spent six years at Bristol Broadcasting which includes WQBE, WVSR, and WBES as a marketing representative serving large clients such as Joe Holland Chevrolet and Charter Cable.

Jeri currently resides in St. Albans.
